Daisy Delatorre

Daisy is an associate attorney at Dubrule & Nowel, PLLC. She was born and raised in Florida, but she is of Mexican descent. She received her Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and her law degree from Stetson College of Law.

Daisy has always been passionate about fighting for the rights of the oppressed. In law school, she interned with Gulf Coast legal services in the immigration department. She also spent a summer in Boston, serving at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau in the housing department.

Daisy began her law career as a public defender, representing hundreds of clients. Although Daisy enjoys practicing criminal law, she has always felt a pull toward immigration law, given her own life experiences.

When Daisy is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family.

 

Claudia Cabrera

Claudia was born and raised in Cuba. She immigrated with her family to United States at 22 years of age and lived the difficulties and complexities of the U.S. immigration system. Knowing how hard the process can be, and after working in office administration for over 7 years, she decided to follow her passion for helping others acquire their immigration status and began working as a paralegal. 

Claudia is currently pursuing her Associate of Arts in General Studies Degree through Kaiser University. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones, crafting, and going out for walks with her fur baby Jack.

She is fluent in Spanish, Italian and English.

 

Camila Montenegro

Meet our paralegal, Camila Montenegro. Camila was born in Colombia, She is an industrial designer with a master's degree in Design for Social Innovation in process. She has 4 years of experience as an executive and administrative assistant and has discovered her passion for helping immigrants around the world. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is part of the Fire Department in her city.

 

Veronica Rivera

Veronica is a Florida Registered Paralegal with 8+ years of experience. She graduated with her bachelor's degree from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida and received her Post bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from St. Petersburg College in Clearwater, Florida.

Veronica come from a family of immigrants, and is a first-generation U.S. born American on both sides of her family. Knowing how her parents struggled for such a long time to finally become citizens of the U.S. is what sparked her passion for helping immigrants achieve their dreams, just as someone helped her parents long ago. Veronica views this as her way of paying it forward.

She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Naylan Valdes

Meet our Paralegal Naylan Valdes.

Naylan has six years of experience in Immigration Law. She has attended trainings and conferences, including AILA Central Florida and CLINIC Annual Convening on numerous occasions to expand her knowledge about Immigration.

Naylan immigrated from Cuba to the United States with her parents searching for a better future. As an immigrant herself, she experienced the difficulties of starting over in a different country. For this reason, she is enthusiastic about helping others with their immigration matter and be able to remain legally in the United States, a place they can call “home”.

She is fluent in English and Spanish.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys doing volunteer work for the community. 

 

Christelle Metayer

Christelle is originally from Haiti and went to school in Cuba. She is fluent in Haitian Creole, French, and Spanish!

 

Vickie Angel

Meet our client services assistant, Vickie.

Vickie is a Florida native with a professional history in executive and administrative assisting that spans more than 15 years.

She received her Associate in Science Degree majoring in Legal Administration in 2018 and has focused on immigration law firms ever since.

Vickie does not have any free time as work, her 4 children, and her beloved grandchild consume her entire life.
